For about 75 minutes, it seemed like the Palm Desert girls soccer team would cruise to an easy victory over Paloma Valley High School. . The Aztecs controlled possession and had many more shots on goal than the Wildcats. 

Great matchup on the pitch as first place Rancho Mirage traveled to Palm Desert. Rattlers strike first as Freshman Jose Antonio Guerrero takes a long pass and puts it in the net. The Aztecs would answer with a great slide tackle by Sebastian Hernandez leading to a Ryland Risk goal to tie the game. The game went to overtime and the Rattlers scored to win 3-2.

Desert Christian Academy beat 29 Palms 71-47 at the Rancho Mirage Holiday Classic. Augustine Youssef had 27 for the Conquerors as they improve to 12-6. Twentynine Palms falls to 4-12. Adrian Crowell had 19 for the Wildcats.

Paul Dreisbach had 13 points to lead the Xavier Saints over the Desert Hot Springs Eagles 47-34. It was a four point game at halftime, but the Saints went on an 18-4 run in the 3rd to put the game out of reach. Joel Glaspie had 11 points for the Eagles in the loss. The Saints improve to 3-12 on the season while the Eagles fall to 3-5.

Coachella Valley High School hung tough with Rancho Mirage High School for three quarters in the Rancho Mirage Holliday Classic.
